"Faith At Home" for this Sunday August 9th In addition to Mass, the Los Angeles Archdiocese office of Religious Education provides a beautiful outline for Sunday's readings, prayer, family discussion points and more. This can be done as a family, or individually.

Praying together as a family, asking Jesus and our Mother Mary to watch over us, our friends and neighbors, will bring you and your children comfort and peace (and by teaching your children the Rosary, you will also be teaching them the prayers they need to learn in religious education!) Click the Bible Study link for helpful suggestions, and the Rosary Link to find an easy way to teach your children the Rosary using a Rosary ring (as well as other prayer resources for adults).
Explore the saints...Each saint has a story and a reason why they led an exemplary life. They remind Catholics of the cost of following God as many of the saints were willing to die for Christianity. The saint link above provides resources for children and adults as well as information regarding our very own saint, Mother Francis Xavier Cabrini, who walked our grounds and whose personal chapel sits in our parking lot!
For teens in Confirmation and our families in RCIA, check out the saint link to help with choosing your saint name.
